Mentoring and inspiring men in their most important leadership position

Coach4Life works with individuals, groups, churches and other nonprofits to provide resources and practical strategies rooted in biblical principles to equip fathers to lead their families well.

You’ve been given great purpose in your role as dad.
It should be your most important responsibility.
Want some help?

01.

With young children

You’re just learning that you have a whistle — and that you don’t know what exactly to do with it. Together, we’ll work on how to build into your children’s lives during their most impressionable and moldable years to protect them from unwanted influences, while being strategic and intentional with them to create space for your influence to make a positive difference for years to come.

02.

With teenagers

You’ve probably been using your whistle for awhile, but the early game plan isn’t working anymore. Together, let’s open a new playbook that helps you gradually open doors for your kids. In this stage of life, you are preparing them for what they will face on the other side of adolescence, while also recognizing they have a mind of their own.

03.

With young adults – and beyond

You’re almost an empty nester, or maybe your kids are already out into the world. Let’s work together to explore how you can still coach them. You will always have a voice — but depending on how and when you use it will determine if your children still hear you.

How Coach4Life can assist

One-on-One Coaching

Individual sessions are focused on giving every dad the practical tools and strategies he needs to be present and equipped to step into life circumstances requiring his wisdom, love and shepherding. They are available in person and via video conferencing.

Group Coaching

Called Huddles, these casual get-togethers in an array of venues
— including churches and other nonprofits– provide great opportunities for men to make new and meaningful friendships as they learn together. The unique experiences each dad shares can become object lessons for others in the group.

Timeouts

Exceptional memories and break-through moments often happen when a dad takes time out of his busy schedule to serve alongside his children. Coach4Life service experiences open the door for a dad to teach many life lessons during an event and afterwards. Timeouts are arranged for fathers and their children of all ages — or for the entire family.

COACHING COACHES

The world of athletic coaching has changed dramatically in the last decade. If you’re looking to become a coach who inspires young athletes to be their best — developing their heart, soul, mind and strength — let Coach4Life help you establish a game plan. Coach4Life provides mentorship for coaches of athletic teams.

And let us not grow weary of doing good,
for in due season we will reap if we do not give up.

About Tim Welch

He’s a coach, father, educator, mentor and follower of Jesus Christ who seeks to inspire men in their most important leadership position: Dad.

A wrestling coach since 1987, Tim has discovered that some of the same principles that have made him a good coach also have made him a good father. For more than a decade, he has taught hundreds of men these principles, traits, attitudes, convictions and standards to help them be the coaches their children need to be successful in the game of life.
